Gem’s Terms & Conditions

Items in stock will be delivered within 48 hours unless specified different.  Gem Freeman Jewellery will advise you on delivery time if you are ordering a bespoke piece.

Orders places on the Gem Freeman Jewellery website are confirmed with an email. All orders placed on the website are subject availability. Payment must be accepted and the billing address verified before we can dispatch any item.

Personalised orders cannot be cancelled or amended once marked as processing. If you need to amend any other items, please contact us to see if we can help with your request, this cannot be guaranteed.

All pieces will be sent to you in a Gem Freeman Jewellery branded gift box. Whilst we make every effort to ensure your jewellery is presented to you at the highest standard, we cannot be held responsible for the condition in which you receive the package

Gem Freeman jewellery is made to order, for jewellery that is not in stock we aim to dispatch between 1-3 weeks. Should you need an item for a certain date or special occasion please contact us to discuss your requirements further.

For U.K. deliveries we attempt to deliver within 48 hours if in stock. Items that are made to order may be longer. For all other countries outside the UK we attempt a delivery within one week from the order date if in stock. Should you need an item for a certain date please contact us to discuss your requirements further. Please note there are certain countries we cannot deliver too, please contact us for further information if you are not sure.

Gem Freeman jewellery uses Interlink Express with the one-hour delivery service, with ‘predict’ text and email delivery notification. You will receive delivery notification via text and email giving you a number of ‘inflight’ delivery options such as deliver to neighbour, collect from depot, leave safe or an alternative delivery date. All non-U.K. deliveries are sent via Royal Mail International Air Sure, where applicable, for a list of countries that this covers please visit the Royal Mail website.

Should you live in a destination that charges customs or import duties, these would be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. The recipient of the parcel must pay for these charges, unfortunately we cannot advise on these prices as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. We would recommend seeking further advise for from your local customs office before placing an order.

If your delivery has been delayed, please refer to your emails from Interlink Express who will provide you with contact details. Gem Freeman Jewellery cannot be responsible for jewellery delayed or lost in transit.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure your item is presented to you at a high standard, we cannot be held responsible for the condition in which you receive the package. If the items inside appear to be damaged or faulty please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Gem Freeman Jewellery is made by hand and each piece is individual and therefor may differ slightly from photographs on this website. Bespoke and personalised jewellery cannot be returned unless faulty. Earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons unless faulty.

If you wish to return the jewellery for a refund, please notify us by email gem@gemfreeman.com within 7 days of receiving your parcel. Until the jewellery reaches us, it remains the responsibility of the customer and we would recommend you use a tracked delivery service, as Gem Freeman Jewellery cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in the post. The jewellery must be returned in a perfect condition, unworn and inside its original packaging. Once we receive the item back with us, we shall process a refund within 7 working days, we do not refund return postage costs. We cannot be responsible for the time in which your bank may take to clear the monies. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Gem Freeman Jewellery works in hallmarked sterling silver and gold. To ensure the longevity of your jewellery we would recommend not wearing whilst in the shower, bath or swimming. We would recommend preventing you jewellery from mis shaping by storing your jewellery carefully after wearing and avoiding banging, knocking or wearing your jewellery in bed. To clean your jewellery avoid silver dips and clean with a microfiber polishing cloth. Do not spray perfume or other solvents onto the jewellery.
